The Chronicles of Narnia were published once a year from 1950-1956. They were written by Irish professor Clive Staples Lewis, known as “Jack”, and illustrated by Pauline Baynes.
I like to use the abbreviations for each title for organization, such as “VDT” for “The Voyage of the Dawn Treader”, from Paul F. Ford’s Companion to Narnia.
In the United States, publishers kept the publishing order as the reading order until 1996, when they re-ordered them chronologically.
Publishing Order [2456317]: LWW(1950), PC(1951), VDT(1952) SC(1953), HHB(1954), MN(1955), LB(1956)
Chronological Order: MN, LWW, HHB, PC, VDT, SC, LB
