Some journeys take us far from home. Some adventures lead us to our destiny
Sorry if this is like 100 years old but I just noticed it so I’ll answer it now anyway:
First of all, in case you’re autistic or something (I’m just saying this because I am, and I have this problem A LOT), it’s not to be taken literally.
Okay so I’m not necessarily 100% familiar with 1950s British sayings, but I’ve read the Spanish version and it mostly just says that Peter thinks Professor Kirke’s house is just great and that he’s happy to be there.
"We’ve fallen on our feet" is most likely just something like "we’re unexpectedly in a great place, yay" and then "no mistake" is probably more explanatory.
By the way, this is one of my favorite quotes for some reason, so thanks to whoever brought it up ♥
Sorry this probably took forever.
Also sorry I haven’t been on in forever. I have finals.
And yes, I celebrated C.S. Lewis’ birthday. I’m sure you all follow better Narnia Tumblrs too and caught that his birthday was November 29th, although of course you probably knew it already anyway. ♥
I used to do this all the time actually..
Even though it was pretty much all I listened to, my parents finally bought me an iPod so I wouldn’t have to use the computer the whole time
